1. Problem: DBATE is not starting either starting with a blank screen or presenting the message as shown

Possible issue Potential resolution Remarks
TWS is not running or not logged in Launch and login to TWS before opening DBATE.
No internet connection Check your internet
API not enabled or not configured Follow the instructions to configure API on your TWS.
Other issues – There might be few other reasons for DBATE not launching like:

Licensing issues, files deleted by mistake or by your antivirus.

 Please catch the DBATE error message and send to our support.

 

2. Problem: Error message regarding the Worksheet file, DBATE is not loading the strategy, fail to start

Wrong worksheet file selected Select the correct file
Some changes made to the worksheet file and DBATE cannot read it. Please follow guidelines of worksheet user manual Try to load the original the sample worksheet supplied to verify the issue.

 

3. Problem: No data available on symbol / DBATE is not loading the symbol

6. Problem: The graph is stuck for few minutes (while loading data)

7. Problem: the graphs is showing No trade events

Time on your computer is not matching time on the exchange Please ensure that the time for earliest trade time and latest trade time on the worksheet are aligned with your current time zone
